SHU wallet is crafted from museum quality matboard "Slater Harrison". Matboard consists of three layers, and its core contains a small number of cotton fibers. Both the inner and the front parts correspond to all the necessary conservative criteria and standards (according to synthetic tests for artificial "aging" for 100 years). Matboard is treated with calcium carbonate, so as to acquire alkaline characteristics. The acidity of the matboard has a pH of 8.2, and over time this value remains practically unchanged, which will perfectly preserve any work of art.
There are no two identical products. Each work has its own unique pattern. It’s varnished and treated with wax. So the product becomes waterproof and fireproof than ordinary paper.
